Medium ruby core, more watery edge. Scents of the south-brambly blackberry, fennel, and thyme. Medium weight. Earthy, herbaceous black fruit, zesty acidity, and anise. Good now without a lot of anticipated development.

Clear dark red. Quite green on the nose, typical for Cincault. Forest fruit and pine needles. Medium body. Pure and quite elegant style. A good amount of green tannins. A bit controversial style.

At this point, more appealing than the 2011
Seems a different blend, a little less spice, more fruit, slightly better balance. Shares earthy stone and sweat

Positive development from last bottle. The green tannins are less present, making the wine show a more pure and delicate side.
