My last note called this a tourist wine - on reflection I would call it a food wine. I'm sure it would go well with spicy Asian food. I fear we're developing a strong aversion to Gewurz. Two cases of various FLX samplings left. I guess we'll either get past it, or drive the last nails in the coffin.

Kens Wine Review: This almost clear colored Gewurztraminer is very good and a great value. It opens with a pleasant lychee and tangerine bouquet with a hint of peach. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is a tasty lychee with notes of tangerine and minerality. I also detected hints of mild apricot and faint peach. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Medium intensity with dominant characters of sweet citrus, stone fruits, cooking spices and floral notes. The time on skins and the yeast used add palate weight and texture, while enhancing the mineral undertones. The light touch of sweetness is well balanced by a crisp acidity. Pair with rich Asian dishes and spicy Indian foods.
