{cork,12.5%} Mid yellow. Developing nose of lemongrass and straw. Light toast note too. The flavours are of lemongrass and lanolin, some brine, seemingly soft at first, but then a little zesty acid comes through and lifts it nicely. Tastes a little younger than the nose might suggest. That all said, it seems structurally sound, but for the fact that the very mild flavours fade very quickly, just leaving a gentle acidity without real length. Maybe more cellaring will help. Won’t hurt anyway. Dry, just medium weight, at least to begin. Curious.

Medium-bodied, with an oily mouthfeel and tart acidity. Dry, but with sweet fruit flavours of lemon curd, sage, apple, and soda water.

Bit stronger and more explicit than the 2014 one!
