Not what you would describe as Cali chard. High acidity with a lemon, river stone, herbaceous taste followed by smooth light Carmel viscosity of a finish. At slightly below room temp the acidity is high but with mellowing our over time. I’ve resisted opening this bottle since buying at winery, worth the 5 yr wait.

Mellowing but still lovely. I had this bottle longer than intended but it still paired well with cheese and fruit.

Carmel apple, mineral notes. Golden color. Paired well with cheese.

Starting to notice caramel now. Good on it's own and with food. At or near peak, drink through 2018.
