A strange and enjoyable wine. Extremely aromatic and high alcohol. Heavy mouthfeel but not quite flabby. Notes of pineapple, peach, some kind of candied fruit. A few people tasting thought it was gewurztraminer. Nobody guessed Sauvignon blanc.

Old school Scholium here. Intense, pineapple quince cream, butterscotch, but with a zingy acidity that carries it through.
