  Drank this wine at my parents' place over the Chinese New Year reunion dinner.
  
  Sweet young cherries with some leather and dark chocolates with a lush, long, lingering finish makes this a very food friendly wine. Medium body with a well defined structure.

  Opened this last night at home to rant over the election results with my sister-in-law, her husband and a group of friends.
  
  Dark purple in colour with notes of coffee and wild cherries on the nose. On the palate the wine is medium to full body, with juicy flavour and meat sweetness. Tannins are rounded and chewy and the wine presents a substantial oak presence.
