This is a wine many people would like but it's not really my style. Effusive bouquet of red fruit, vanilla, and baking spice gives way to a wine of significant concentration with a long finish. It is noticeably "oaked." Noticeable in the bouquet and also in the noticeable tannins. I doubt (though I could be wrong) that the wine will outlive the oak treatment. A good Pinot Noir for a steak, but not the sort of Burgundy I prefer.
