Pop and pour, drank half the bottle over 2 hours. This wine has a Sonoma pinot profile, but it is more subdued, elegant and thought-provoking. The fruit is more in the background with savory notes in the foreground. This was my first experience with this producer and I am impressed! Its too bad their wine club is a hostage program. I just bought this bottle recently.

I thought this was drinking really well tonight. Pretty light - in general, and for Great Oak in particular. This had some lovely orange peel flavors that kept me coming back to the glass. I wish I had one or two more - I wouldn't necessarily hold for long, but I'd love to drink a bit more of this.
Similar to the prior bottle from almost 2 years ago. The main difference is that it didn't quite take the 14.9% alcohol as well as my prior notes suggest. A touch hot here and there. Otherwise it's a low fruit/high savoury Pinot.

Hazy red brown. This is ready and on a knife's edge with strawberry jam, forest floor and VA. In the mouth it is rich and bright, again the VA. So interesting with fruit, jam, animal scents. Drink up and enjoy!
