Another LVMH-conglomerate wine that no one else on CT owns a bottle of except for me? Seems hard to believe; even if it's not a trophy worth showing off, it's still a solid daily drinker in the $10-12 range. In any case this is a very cleanly-made, fruit-forward but balanced (not overripe) cabernet, with good acidity, easy to sip but also plays well with food. Plums, cassis, and a hint of smokiness and cocoa dance on the nose and on the palate. Very fine QPR for casual weeknights or entertaining large crowds.
