2015 Aspen Food & Wine Classic Trip; 6/17/2015-6/22/2015 (Aspen, Colorado): This light yellow wine offers a rich, creamy mix of vanilla, baked apple, citrus and spice. Medium-bodied and with low-to-medium acidity, it delivers its flavors wrapped in more than a dollop of oak. The alcohol is fairly well-integrated and the middle palate is solid. Concluding with a medium-length, oak-laden finish, this is a California Chardonnay which will have many fans...I just don't happen to be one of them. Drink now-2018.
