12.5% Medium red center, slightly pale red translucent rim hint of orange. Crunchy tart black cherry, blackberry, hint of raisin / prune. Fragrant, not as much of a savoury soy sauce note this time. Good length.
14 August 2022: with air, some sweetness on the finish. Still enough refreshing tartness to hold up to the fabada asturiana it accompanied.

12.5%. Dark inky red, purple rim - seems darker than my last bottle. Lifted fruit, plums and liquorice. Not so much of a soy sauce note as my last bottle, though a whiff still emerges as the wine warms up. Still grippy, balanced by wide swathes of tartness. Dense, dense structure. Food friendly acidity in heaps. Yeasty/bready note on the finish. 20+ sec finish. A lean linear wine; avoid this if you want a plush, fruity, sweet cocktail substitute. Based on this bottle, good for few more years.

12.5%. PnP. What is striking about the nose is a distinct black olive / soy sauce character, maybe with some faint herbs and flowers escaping with vigorous swirling. This is fragrant but not fruity. Some blackberry and a quince like tartness. With more air, more bright red berry/cherry fruit. Firmly structured, with powdery mouth coating tannins. Medium red, pale rim. Nothing boring about this wine.

12.5%. Half Syrah half Mourvedre. Still quite dark. Nicely fragrant, with an intriguing meaty savoury note; grippy tannins, with faint herbal and bready tastes on the finish. Interesting wine. Organic & biodynamic viticulture. Winemaker is the brother-in-law of Gerard Gauby.
