Purchased at the winery and cold cellared since. Tasting quite young, in fact, I was looking for a bit more bottle age. I found it much more balanced colder, more flabby warmer. A sweeter style, but still balanced.

{cork, 7.5%, AP 28 03} Opening on our 20th wedding anniversary. Not sure whether to be happy or sad that the marriage appears in far better shape than the wine! This is deep gold, with a muted, even dull nose. Fermenting stewed apple sauce, with a browning quality comprise nose and palate. Simple and very advanced. Still has a gentle off-dry sweetness on the palate, and some persistent acid too, but overall the oxidative nature of the thing drags it down to a dull short finish. Fine cork and no ullage. Drink your Loosens early, I think.
