Eye: crimson Nose: Floral, red fruits, spices, some funk Palate: Floral, deeper pitched red fruits, mineral with some funk and then spice on the finish. Medium acidity and finish.
Overall, this was quite nice. My first from this village site and will look for again. Enjoy!

Louis Jadot Cellar Visit, Barrel Tasting and Lunch in the Vineyard (Beaune): Barrel tasting at Jadot. Red and black cherry on nose and palate with a good energy and mineral burst on finish. More elegance vs power, with moderate weight. Immediately downslope from Baudes (tasted next), which was very similar but with greater density.
Another wine I've never seen before, but I am very glad more producers are bottling individual Chambolle lieux-dits, which will help me better understand the nuances of Chambolle terroir.
