Delicious. I was a bit worried as this bottle flew back on a plane from Porto with me in 2012 and has since bounced around and moved with me 5 times, then took another plane ride before being (carefully) opened with friends on a recent trip. My worry was misplaced - other than a fragile cork it has held up extremely well, with a powerful nose and quite a robust, tawny flavor profile. Was a big hit.

Not much of a smell, not much of an impact on the palate initially, but a decent finish with some tannin. If you have it I would drink it. The fruit is still there but is not center stage.

Sandeman MG Vertical (PP81): From MG bottle. Sweet plums, coffee and camphor. Well rounded and charming. Lovely and complex with a good balance. Lovely wine!
