The Blind Drunks monthly tasting (Chateau Lay): Served double blind. Deep color. Aromas of flowers and mineral, with a subtle metallic note. Still has decent fruit on the palate, along with a minerally/stone note. After some time in the glass someone noted a suble toasty note which I agreed with.

Fragrant nose of white flowers, lanolin and spicy apple fruits. Crisp on the palate with an oily mouthcoating texture. Nice interplay between viscous white fruits and acid. Long finish, especially for a wine at this price point. Not all that complex --- but tasty and very high performing. Great bargain!

Taken to Bob & Laurie's CDP. Lovely floral and peach notes lead to a refined palate showing apple blossom and stone fruit flavors. Finishes nicely. This is a lovely Viognier and a very good QPR at the $13+/- price.

Served double blind at the August Blind Drunks tasting. Pale color. Florally aromas with a slight soapy note. Decent fruit on the palate.

Taken to a friend's for dinner. Paired well with pork roast. Similar notes as before.
