Pale gold. Assertive but cut nose with prominent minerals and stones, peaches, peach pits, honeysuckle and pollen, some subtle spices. Very nice. The palate isn't as good as the nose - good cut, but it's bitter - heavy on backbone and not enough flavor - it enters with nice minerality, and then the peaches come in. In the mid-palate, the bitter peach pit dominates and a brothy saline aspect comes in - buzzing and a little baroque. Quite acidic with some citric burn. The finish is bitter pits and citric burn. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 4/6, Finish - 3.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 0.5/2 = 13/20.
