Kabinett from a very difficult vintage with a lot of rain pouring down on the grapes during the 2014 harvest. 8% alcohol and about 60 grams of residual sugar.
There is clearly a part of botrytized grapes. On palate it's rather simple with a very short finish, there is not much to discover. One glass is enough. For me the balance between bottle age and freshness is just about right right now. Drink now. I do have a couple of bottles and I will do the same. It won't get any better.
Overall: At €8 this is a steal.

Simple, inviting, and straightforward. Very fruit-forward, low alcohol (7.5%) and fairly low acidity. A little minerality to keep it from being cloying. Nothing profound but hard to beat for a $15 bottle of wine.

Although technically ok, it provides no fun. Very simple.
