Has developed some oily tertiary notes yet retains a lot of energy in the fruit. Drinking nicely now but will probably be even better and more complex in five years or so.

Needs a serious 2 hour decant to soften and show, the terrific tropical fruits, minerals, slate, hints of green apple, palate is loaded with freshness, puckering acidity (in a really good way) fruit more tart with green apple skin and lemon rind flavours, all with great power and length

En perception, le vin est quasi sec. La notion de TF me semble exacte. C’est d’une précision remarquable.

Is Lauer the best producer of reasonably priced white wine in the world? I think so! Another absolutely stellar Riesling from these guys

Day 1 in the Mosel - Peter Lauer & Hofgut Falkenstein (Mosel Saar Ruwer - Germany): From barrel. A beautiful , edgy combination of tart cherry, nectarines, and lime. The palate was my favorite of Lauer’s…the perfect intersection of snappy citrus, lush peach, and stoniness. One of my favorites of the afternoon.
