  Disappointing, especially for a winery of the standing of van Volxem's.
  
  This riesling was seriously unripe, strangely grassy with almost sauvignon blanc characteristics, edgy acidity, close to zero fruit, and anyway not much to like about it.
  
  Maybe the first truly weak German Riesling effort from the 2014 vintage that I've tasted. Cannot recommend.
