  Very complex for a $15 bottle. Light nose, but elegant and well balanced palate of sharp minerals, lemons and tropical fruit. No oak at all, healthy acidity. Perfect on a hot summer day. Jean Rijckaert was a partner in Guffen and began making wine from old vines in the Maconnais and the Jura (due east of Cote de Beaune) on his own in 1998. He always provides great value.
