Random how we decided on this, thought it was a different Jean-Marc! Needed air to open up, but quite a classic fat Puligny profile, rich, sunny, soft and textured. More aged than the 96 Leflaive BBM but also readier. 92-93

Medium dark copper; showing some roasted almond, touch honey-caramel, bruised apple underneath; body was full-ish, really good tangy lift, long finish with a sort of sweet and sour thing. A little past it's due date, but the vintage kept this lively and fun to drink. For Blind
