14.9% abv. 834 cases. Recent auction purchase. First time trying this producer and I am impressed! I think this toes the line nicely between big, full, ripe Napa Cab and more structured and restrained Napa Cab. Right in the middle, really, which suits my palate just fine. Very well balanced, with enough acidity to give lift and freshness, but enough oomph and flavor to please those who like them more fruity. Some mountain tannin is also prominent on the finish. Just very slightly more oak influence (vanilla) than I prefer, but I'm not a fan of overt oak at all, so this should be perfect for most. All this at a very good price point for this style of Napa Cabernet (I only paid $27/btl for 3 bottles at auction - total score). At 10 years old, this is still on the young side, so I think this will go another 10 without any issues at all and probably longer without falling off. Well done Coho!

This wine is really singing. Popped and poured this time, it was all ripe and ready. Mostly black and blue fruit, cassis and blueberry, with candied notes; juicy, full bodied, with fine tannins and a long finish. Wish I had more.

This turned out to be a grea QPR. fruit has tempered and now more in line w structure, and some nice secondary emerging. I wouldn’t be surprised if this has more upside over next 5 yrs.

Nice surprise. Benefited from air, and indeed was possibly best on day 3.

Solid QPR - aged nicely and I love the Diamond Mtn fruit and rocky terroir.
