  A pleasant Viognier that is a bit straightforward, but it delivers a thick and tasty drinking experience. Almost clear in color, full in body, nose of flowers and ocean air. Tastes of pear, cantaloupe, and beeswax, with an oily finish that lifts up, just enough, at the end. 14.7% alcohol.

  Explosive nose! Delivers wonderful aromatics. In the mouth crisp acidity and a medium body. The flavors seem slightly muted compared to the nose. I don't drink much Viognier, could be common to the variety. In my estimation a much better value than the Syrah.

  Originally tasted this at Hospice du Rhone a few weeks ago in Paso Robles and absolutely loved it. Carrie said they only made 60 cases of it and it was their first white. Tasted at about 55 degrees. Beautiful aromatics of fruit and flowers pop from the glass that remind me of a top vintage La Doriane from Condrieu. The wine pops immediately on the front palate and goes on for over a minute. Fresh acidity with a medium mouth weight gives it some great body. Flavors of pineapple, peach, vanilla and succulent flowers. What an amazing wine!!! Consensus at the table all the way around gave 95+ points. Well done.
