Just a really, really good drinker. Bright red fruits, sweet spice - energizing acidity. Haven't seen this wine since the '08 - and I may have been overly excited about that one, but this version proves that 3 sticks knows something about good wine.

25/24/19/18/7/4/3 Malbec/Petit Verdot/C. Sauv/C. Franc/Merlot/Carignane/Syrah. Medium tannins, a little juicy, easy, good starter wine. I expected a little more complexity given the blend.

A pan Sonoma County (Moon Mountain, RRV, Knights, Rockpile, Sonoma Valley) blend of 7 grapes - Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cab Sauv, Cab franc, Merlot, Cariagne, Syrah, in descending order.
The wine is dark, with a big dose of dark fruit and finishes with some sweet oak. (35% new). Might serve a bit cool as it seemed to get a bit hot in the finish.
