Medium to medium deep. Very simple. Toffee apples. Raw oak. Closed dull. Lactone. Sweet fruit. Flabby. Raw oak and vanilla. Short and fat. Dull. Nasty. Don’t know what I was thinking when I purchased this wine.

Some citrus in the nose, blended with other nuanced earthy or spicy touches. Classic CA chardonnay.
Lighter side of medium weight in mouth.
Finish seemed average at best.
Pleasant enough wine, although my expectations were high based upon the combo of brand and the vineyard. My first Sanford La Rinconada chardonnay, and while I enjoyed it, there are other chardonnays offering similar satisfaction at much lower price point.
I would absolutely drink it again, but would probably not buy it again. Perhaps I should try another vintage...

14,5% alcohol and aged in 40% new oak. Nice nose with apples and pears combined with pineapple, spices and hints of vanilla. Smooth on the palate with a careful but citric acidity, containing lemon and lime. The acidity gets more intense in the finish. This is a nice Chardonnay with some energy from the acidity and denseness in the fruit, but it lacks some elegance and precision for a top score.

Clear, medium, gold color
Clean, fully developed, medium aromas of butter, toffee, heavy oak, bread, banana, and caramel.
Dry, medium - acidity, medium + body, high alcohol, medium flavors of toffee, butterscotch, oak and banana.
Good quality, but a bit flabby and a lack of integration of structural components.
Drink now will not likely improve with more aging.

Always a nice Chardonnay.
The wine looks light gold colored. There was no sediment in the bottle.
