Tasted alongside Lynch Moussas 96. Of course a simpler wine by any measure but wasn't completely shamed by the Pauillac. The fruit is more on the red side and the balance not as good as the Pauillac. As well I found there was a disconcerting sweetness to it. For the money nothing to complain. Not too keen on 2011 as a vintage but this one is all right.

Weird. This wine opened up in a boring way. Vanilla, overoaked. But after a few days the oak dialed down and cassis started blooming, even a hint of leather/stables. Found it a lot more interesting a year ago but perhaps my tastebuds and preferences have changed. It is not a bad wine, perhaps a little one dimensional. Just pleased the vanilla-bomb died out... Fruit is not fading just yet so could probably do a few more years in the cellar for tertiary aromas.

Not much going on in this wine. Drinkable but nothing special. Had a 2018 from another winery right before and this one paled in comparison.

Good to go, at prime. Better after decant. Got some pessac character, albeit not in abundance.... Drink now (or hold a few yrs)

At or past its peak. Quite simple wine.
Smooth tannins, a bit mature characteristics but of a more one dimentional style.
Drink now.
