  • Nose: The nose is very chambolle with a feminine and floral style to it filled with violets, spice notes, roses, and loads of fresh picked berries.

Taste: Medium bodied with medium/high acidity and silky tannins. Though the structure isn't imposing, it is certainly there along with violets, spice tones, red cherries, roses, and fresh picked berries.

Overall: This is a very pretty young Chambolle. There is a roundness to it that is quite attractive along with a classic feminine side.

  • Burgundy Tasting at Chevalier Wines: This definitely had that classic Chambolle iron fist, velvet glove thing going on. Bright and red-fruited, with great concentration and richness. There's enough stuffing here to handle the oak, and throw in the tart racy acidity, and you got a damn good bottle.
