Sits up against La Rioja Alta, Muga, Roda, Lopez de Heredia, and CUNE. Over 100 years old. New ownership and winemaking team since 2006. More fruit dominated nose than the first two wines. 'Not a super traditional producer.' More modern palate, staying away from herb undertones.

In Haro, lots of red cherry aromas. has a Kool-Aid powder nose. Winery is in between Muga and La Rioja Alta. All hand picked. 12 months in oak. 80% Tempranillo and 20% Garnacha. Has a nice level of concentration. doesn't come across overtly modern.
