Densely colored wine. More opaque than I'd expect from Oregon. Nose of macerated, almost brandied cherries, tomato leaf, cinnamon and cedar. A light incense-like sandalwood quality. A bit more body than the acid can balance, so it feels a bit flabby on the palate for me. Spicy, with flavors of griotte cherries, cinnamon, allspice and a zippy, almost oregano herbal quality. More sandalwood. It's pleasant enough but missing some of the minerality, acid and finesse I'd like in an Oregon Pinot. The kirsch-like quality makes it an alright sipper.

Tart cherry, delicious fruit, good acid. The wine looks violet colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry and black pepper. It tastes like cherry. The body is light/medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
