  • Consumed this bottle over a wonderful Italian dinner at Trattoria Contadina in S.F. Deep in color, but light on the palate. It had a light ripe berry flavor that rolled out to a smooth vanilla note, very easy to drink. Nothing huge, certainly not complex, either in the nose or on the palate, however very drinkable, and great with the Saltimbucca that I enjoyed. Perfect with food, probably not something I would open just for the sake of enjoying a glass of wine.
