Possibly the driest, most concentrated Amarone I have tasted. Tremendous depth of fruit, earth, and terroir. Reminiscent of high-quality, judiciously-oaked Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Excellent acid, and serious tannic structure. Very well made. It should last through 2028-2030. 92-93.

Although powerful, there is a soft roundness to the tarry black fruit. The typical raisin notes are there, but very well integrated, along with some prune, wild herb and game flavors that add further complexity.

Medium full body, fruity, a bit off balance.
