  Really a little disappointing. Tried to be generous and give it a chance with the vinturi, heavy swirling, and even an overnight in the decanter. Never really got anything exciting to mention. What we can report is that basically this wine is quite Burgundian for a California offering. The flavors and aromas are very subtle to say the least. It really isn't very fruity. There are some commendable Pinot style wet bark, barnyard, cloves and minerals secondary flavors. It does have nice acid balance, and kind of sneaks up on you as you taste down the glass, so not exactly a disaster.
