First glass from coravin is what this rating is based upon. Mellow, integrated, pleasant Oregon Pinot. Unfortunately, I opened the bottle three days later and it was awful - oxidized and stewed. Not sure what happened. Maybe the cork leaked after Coravin??? That has never happened to me before.

Initially dark fruit and a little woodsy. Dark in color, but no notes of oak. But there alcohol was prevalent above 65f.
After an hour tannins came forward, gentle and smoothe. The forest floor eased off too. Some notes of vanilla and liquorice.

Moderate nose. Good light complex mouth feel. Sort of Ripassolike profile of lighter and heavier flavors. Decent finish. Nice but not special.
