  Writing this as I taste from a newly opened bottle at cellar temperature. I am happy with the initial dusty, earthy aromas as I swirl and try to air and warm the glass a few degrees.
  After half an hour, the nose is still the same but the flavors and mouth feeling is smoother. Hard to place the fruits present but they are still in balance with the acid and tannins.
  Aging nicely for a Sierra Foothills wine and an extremely good Cabernet from the area.
