Dark fruit, garrigue and potpourri. Everything was in sync. Bright and focused. Good depth and texture. The nose was pleasing. This wine has many good years in its future. Great juice.

Ready on PnP. Red fruit has receded some but still there integrated with some spice into a wine that is very nice has that Bedrock aged quality that sometimes I struggle to describe.

Last enjoyed this vintage of Dolinsek in 2016. It has really matured since then. It still retains the bright fruit red fruit flavors, but they are more mellow now, more sophisticated. I guess I don't really expect zinfandels to be long-lived, but this one is proving me incorrect on that!
In my TN from 2016 I mentioned that this wine has a more 'horizontal' sense to it. I wondered if it might someday develop into a wine with that horizontal sense and a vertical (depth) sense to it. I have to say it has done just that!

Liked it but didn’t love it. It had this nice high toned bright raspberry fruit but beyond that it wasn’t that interesting or complex but was a nice wine to drink with a friend. It certainly does seem ready to drink. Didn’t really sense any evolution over the course of 90 minutes. Have another bottle and not sure when I’ll drink it.

Lots of raspberry, blueberry compote and spice on finish
