Held for 10 or so years and decanted for 3 hours. Might be past it’s prime as not too expressive and deft on the nose. Did not materially change over the three hours. Was an enjoyable selection, decent legs and prolonged finish.

I was worried it was gonna be past prime drinking based on the last review posted. The first sip was not encouraging. Decanted and it came to life. Deep and dark, but balanced. Very yummy in the end.

The statement "Select Reserve" is lost on me with this wine. Dark bitter chocolate on the front with way too much green pepper in the mouth. It still tastes fresh but right now the rest of flavors are muddled in the back ground. Way less than I expect from an Atlas Peak appellation!

A 2018 $25 WTSO purchase and I have consistently had great success with CA Atlas Peak Cabs and this one continues the streak. Deep, dark, big and bold. Being a '12, great vintage and certainly in the desirable window for current consumption.

This has the earthy taste of a bordeaux. The finish if kind of stringint. It may be past peak.
