A couple of years in the cellar has taken this to the next level. It still has a full core of dark red fruit, but now shows leathery elements, and some warm herb accents. It's still velvety, so very easy to drink, and the depth promises further profitable aging.

Dark fruits, something a bit savory and wild on the very dry finish. Paired perfectly with some (spanish influenced) pan-roasted chicken with mint sauce. Grown in CA but a good reminder that it's never a bad idea to match up spices and grapes :) worked well this time at least...

This is very interesting wine. It has a deep yet elegant core of dark fruit, but what keeps me coming back sip after sip is the texture. It's silky without being goopy, and so each sip invites the next. This is a completely different expression from the Enfield Wine Co versions from the same site. the Enfield is wilder, earthier. This is more linear, but man that texture is something.

Note from Rieslingfan nails this wine, especially in comparison to Enfield Tempranillo from same vintage. Nothing more to add.
