Killer. This has several years left in my opinion. Dark fruit, coffee, cocoa, vanilla and little dryness on the back palate to show the tannins are still present. Another tough Oz Shiraz

This was almost really good. You must like American oak and cherry ripe flavours. This had vanilla, chocolate, raspberry and mint in bucketloads, but for all that, I found it a bit thin for some reason. I was suprised how well it had aged, and there's another few years left in it if you so desire.

Decanted 1hr. American Oak was very obvious (but not over the top), as was the Langhorne Creek sappyness/greeness (which I kind of like). The wine was rich, full-bodied and bursting with milk chocolate and would suit those of you who are a little tired of Barossa shiraz's. All round a good drop. (89 pts) Anticipated maturity 2008-2013.
After trying it again the next evening, I have changed my score to 91 pts. WOW! The fruit is no longer hiding behind the oak. There is still so much milk chocolate on the palate but now the wine seems more balanced.

Brick red in colour, clear and bright, good length on the palette well balanced, but not a lot left, should be frunk soon. Not a bad wine, quite nice
