100% Chardonnay. Chalk soils. Vinification in barriques, 70% 2018 vintage, 30% perpetual reserve. 1 g dosage. Rich mouth feel, baking spice, vanilla bean, ripe lemon, mango, ripe pear, fresh dough, pineapple. Incredibly yeasty with autolyrics adding to the tension. Somewhat linear, not as round or expansive but involving a touch of phenolics. Showing some ripeness, explaining the 1g dosage. Fairly vinous for a BDB.

Method: tasted at the domaine (in the cellar) and trying to scribble just a few notes while discussing the wine with Adrien; 2020 base
pear, apple, soil; medium body; super fine bubbles; high- acidity
91 - 92 points. Great wine!

18-base, degosjert i juli 2021.

Tasted at Fruits of the Vine 2024 at Edition Hotel Singapore. Not able to write down tasting notes, only rating score.
