  Enjoyed this wine, as it opened up well with 60 minutes in the decanter. Paired well with steak and pastas. A modest but pleasant bouquet gives way to a great combination of bright and dark fruits, especially blackberry and plum. Really nice finish too.

  Compared to the 2010 (tasted side by side) this wine is much more structured and tannic.
  
  Deep purple in the glass, black licorice, smoke and black fruit jump from the glass. This is not a fruit bomb as compared to the 2010. This wine has firm tannins with more of a lasting finish of black fruit and tart black cherry.
