More evidence here of the advancing state of sparkling wine in California. Taut, crisp and focused, this showed some of the grace of fine zero-dosage Champagne, but with a bit more richness on the mid-palate. The aromas and flavors are dominated by apple, citrus and a bit of wheat toast. It's a little short on the finish, but I would expect that some bottle age would help the wine to fill out/round out more. Impressive stuff.

Inman Family (winery): Biscuits and green apple on the nose; ripe tart green fruit on the palate, with some citrus and minerality. Excellent acidity. Long finish with some sweeter orange citrus. Wow. Unexpected quality. Excellent wine.
