curiously and mysteriously tasted like a (high quality) riesling trocken to me this time: excellent acidity, generous powdery minerality, pretty fruit, similar alcohol level

pretty good minerality, finish was impressive, but as a whole too reserved for me. wish there's more character and more expressive. acidity is a little flat to be called crisp.

The remainder of a Coravin'd bottle. Different enough this go round to warrant a new note. Intense aromas of ripe papaya, white peach and pear leap from the glass. Transitions to lemon oil as the wine approaches room temperature. There's an attractive layer of flinty smoke in the background. Gobs of succulent fruit saturate the palate. Finishes with tart lemon custard that goes on for miles.
There's insane QPR here.

A translucent pale lemon in the glass, almost watery. Mineral-inflected nose of green citrus, sweet lemon meringue and granny smith apples. Feathery light on the palate, with delicately creamy low-fat yogurt and lemon sherbet accents, leading in to subtle oyster liqour, the minerals showing up again on a pleasantly long and saline finish. What a wine for $10!
