Acid hounds please form an orderly queue. White flowers and just a hint of honey on the nose. Linear acidity with lemon pith. Minimal development after 7 years suggests the remainder of my case should continue to age well. 12.5% ABV. This screams out for oysters.

Lovely lifted lime and geranium nose. Quite a powerful palate, lots of lime cordial. Lovely soft but persistent acid. Great long finish. Lovely to drink now but will easily go 5 years though not sure it will be any better than now.

"Very enjoyable overall! Clear light straw colour. Fresh aromas, lime, lemon, new rubber/plastic. Palate, has a clean freshness and balance, again lime, lemon, with a light reisling aging taste, not sharp, with a nice minerality,, still a nice little zest, lingers on.

{Screwcap, 12%} Still predictably pale. Restrained mix of talc and limes on the nose. Despite the light alcohol the palate is quite phenolic and full-bodied. The richness is such that I suspect just a few grams of RS here to fatten it out, but you would never call it off-dry, as opposed to some previous iterations of this cuvee. Rich stewed apple flavours, with musk and even a rosewater quality. Good mid-palate presence even if the finish is a little on the short side. This is worth a few years' aging to see how it goes.

Very similar - unsurprisingly - to May's note. Full-flavoured and rich but with lightness of texture and a cool-climate purity of presence. Very fine.
