Pale yellow color. This could be the poster child wine for the average wine drinker, who just wants something with alcohol that isn't offensive. It is ordered countless times in bars and restaurants. It is ordered by millions. Like its counterparts, It had absolutely no bouquet or flavor, and I mean this without hyperbole. It had a pleasant acidity and no off notes. End of story. I drank it, but won't be trying it again. It is hard to find a Pinot Blanc of much distinction, even in Alsace, but this was the quintessential neutral wine, the wine that is just enough for a great many people.

His wine was over the hill and didn’t have much left. Should try a more current vintage.

Simple, fresh and very drinkable on a summer day.
