Deep flavors of black fruits with a bit of stone/graphite, and tobacco leaf. While these sound a bit intense for Pinot noir it was all in a balanced package with plenty acid and some decent tannin. It proved to be a nice pizza wine too.

This wine is over the hill. Received from the winery in 4/16, pulled from the cellar today. Burgandy with maybe some burnt orange around the rim. Nose has some fruit, but there’s also some musty barn, aged tobacco. Taste is very flat. Almost all of the fruit is gone.
