Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • This Muscadet paints in pale yellows, from its color to its slight kerosene smell to its crisp, mouthwatering finish. It's most vivid at midpalate, as the round mouthfeel subtly suggests lemon curd, banana, apple, and just the faintest touch of hazlenut and honey. Went nicely with my savory, soy-marinated (and not spicy) stir-fried tofu. The 50 year old vines grow in mica, schist and gneiss.
