  • Colour: dark cherry
Nose: typical cool climate Shiraz. Lots of black fruit - blackberry, cassis, plum jam - with paneforte, chacuterie, white pepper. Rich, but elegant.
Palate: plum, blackberry, cassis, black berry fruit. A touch of green peppercorn. Rich, but elegant and medium bodied. Complex, with lots of lovely cool climate Shiraz flavours, but a bit short on the palate. Fresh acidity, lively, berry like, fine grained smooth woody drying tannins. Very good for the price (au$10), an accessible example of cool climate Shiraz.
