Very light yellow color with abundant, steady, tiny bubbles; tart green apple, light green melon, lime cream nose; rounded, delicate, lime cream, tart green melon palate with good balancing acidity; medium-plus finish (85% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir; 12.5% alcohol; 18 months on lees; 6 grams dosage)

Certainly a cut above your typical CA sparkler... medium-eight + a little more, more substantive than most; no rush

Substantial wine -- yeasty mid-palate. No bargain at 30 clams, but it is a decided cut above most domestic sparklers, at least.
