After several months in the rack the second bottle succumbs to the screw; perhaps the last '05 to appear in the CT notes. I'm not sure I agree that the wine should be drunk through 2007. I found this to be very nice. Pale yellow color, nose of mineral, hay and grapefruit, the palate has good smooth, slightly oily texture, very nice balance of grapefruit, stones, bracing acidity. It's a kind of hybrid between the softer tropical texture of California and the stripped down minerality of the Loire.

Pale yellow green, muted aroma of hay and shale; on the palate does not bring that tart punch you might expect but is more complex and layered with subtle components and textures, minerality, banana (?), melon.

We drank this with Drew, Drew, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grubb, and they enjoyed it with fish sticks; we preferred real food. Nonetheless, it is rare to get a quality SB with balance and tart citurs flavours at this price.

We enjoyed this wine. Not grassy (which is what I typically dislike about sauvignon blanc). citrus, well balanced.

Great with the seafood we had on the Oregon Coast. We were there with Susie, Paul, Paityn, Maddux, Michael, Nikki.
