Super cool to try this library offering from Ravines. On the nose: raspberry, graphite, incense, baking cinnamon, maybe a hint of toffee. Flavors come across more fruit forward, starting to show the age a bit. Much darker fruit, roasted plum, blueberry compote with baking spices, pipe tobacco. Tannins have softened wonderfully, just sneaking in at the end but otherwise maintaining the structure from behind the scenes. Medium acid still, medium body. Color hasn't started to show much rust yet, still a nice medium ruby. Absolutely loved this! Great showing of what the Finger Lakes can offer for age-able Bordeaux style blends.

Orange bricking around the rim. very green and oaky nose, mixed with some sour red fruit. Very hot nose for 13% alc. Minty taste, light red fruits. Medium/light body for a cab. moderate acidity, light but bitter tannins. This wine was strangely alluring for it rusticity. If you like Loire cab francs, you would like this.

(60% Cabernet 40% Merlot)Good color, barely transparent. The nose shows classy aromas of cherry, red currant, cedar, flowers and a hint of earth. This is medium bodied on the palate with decent concentration but good class. The medium plus length finish features oak driven tannins.

Liked though the flavors seemed muted from first bottle probably due to A leaking cork. Red raspberry. Had after dinner
